Place the coaxial cable on a flat cutting surface. Using a razor blade, carefully make a straight, clean cut through the cable, please note clean any loose or overhanging strands of shielding.
Loosen set screw on the plug so that the screw cannot interfere with the cable jacket when inserting cable into plug. Push cable into the plug with a “screwing” action to ensure it is fully seated into the housing.
Tighten screw until it can not be tightened any further.
Mount the wall plate to a standard wall outlet box.
